[TRNSYS-users] air-to-soil heat exchanger (canadian well)

Issmail,

The algorithms that Type556 used were found to be faulty. The
component was replaced with Type952 in a later TESS Libraries release.
The component is in the GHP library. I would, however, caution you about
using either one of them to model an air-to-soil heat exchanger. They
both assume that the pipes are liquid filled and neither one of them
deals with condensation that might occur if they were filled with air.
Instead, I would recommend that you look at Transsolar's Type460, which
is specifically intended to model an air-to-soil heat exchanger.

kind regards,

  David
