[TRNSYS-users] wall thickness impact on zone volume

PJ,

The physical thickness of the wall is not counted in the zone volume.
It only impacts the thermal properties of the materials. There is not
100% consensus in the building modeling community as to which dimension
(inside, outside, or middle) to choose. I typically use the interior
dimension for external walls and the middle dimension for internal walls.

kind regards,

  David
