Dear TRNSYS users,
I’m trying to implement a cooling system in a building with fan-coils
supplied by cold water from a tank. The tank (Type 4) is previously charged
by a heat pump. When it starts to discharge towards the fan-coil (Type 996)
and the heat pump is off, the tank temperature rises but it goes also above
the ambient temperature, while a constant temperature difference between
the supply and return water temperature from/to the fan-coils is
maintained. I would have expected that these two temperatures reached the
same value and for sure below the ambient temperature. The result has no
physical meaning and it seems related to Type 996.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?
Thank you for your availability,
Alice
