[TRNSYS-users] Dynamic efficiency

Sadjad,

I think the Macro button has you a bit confused. This button is only
used if the model is contained within a TRNSYS macro (a project within a
project). In that case, if the the macro button is checked it would show
that input value in the connection window when a connection was made to
the macro. But let's back up one step. Your model will take for the
input the value of the current output that is connected to that input
spot. If an input is not connected to an output from another model, it
will retain it's unconnected value (the value you specify in the
connection window) for the duration of the simulation.

The problem is I can't find the documentation of Boiler's in 2017 version.

The inputs can be from another model, set to a constant value, read from an external file, set by a function etc.

To be specific I would like to know if the efficiency of a heating unit is calculated as a function of the relevant parameters (i.e. time, temperature, pressure)???
