Thank you Jakob for thinking of it again.
Actually I think you were partly right too: there is something missing in my
balance i.e. radiative heat & internal radiative gains absorbed by the
inside surface.
So I cannot figure out how to account for this! If you have any further
thoughts about it
(I forgot to post on the users list before: I'll reply to all now.)
Best

Dear Antoine,
thinking of it again I have to confess that you were right in the first
place sorry for that
Best

Thanks Jakob!
I thought about QABSI (with the analogy to a wall).
The problem is from what I understand QABSI includes absorbed solar gain at
inside surface: part of it being reemitted inwards so included in QCOMI.
Basically for a single pane glazing this part should correspond to QSHFPR so
this variable could be subtracted to QCOMI and not counted twice.
However for a multiple pane glazing this part should be lower than QSHFPR
which also accounts for inwards reemission of absorbed radiation by the
outer panes.
What if not accounted for in QSTRNS + QCOMI QSOUT is only radiative heat &
internal radiative gains absorbed by the inside surface right?

Dear Antoine,
Sounds promising but dont forget QABSI
QSTRNS + QCOMI QSOUT QABSI

Betreff: [TRNSYS-users] Type 56 net energy balance from window to zone
Hi
I am trying to compute the net energy balance from window (glazing + frame,
no shading device) to zone using Type 56.
My best guess would be: QSTRNS + QCOMI QSOUT.
1) Does that seem correct to you?
2) Is there a way to further split QCOMI between convective and longwave
radiation parts?
Thanks a lot for your help
