[TRNSYS-users] What is the meaning of the identical temperature for a boundary wall?

I think the identical boundary condition replaces the temperature at the boudary with the temperature of the zone, it's practical when an "external wall" is next to another building with assuming its temperatures the same as your zone.Correct me if i'm wrong.
