Dear Arian,
Your building geometry doesn’t have to be rectangular. But surfaces have to be planar and convex!
Using TRNSYS 3d for Sketchup you can define 3D geometries. Or you define a model without 3D information with the Studio Multizone Wizard or TRNBuild. In this case, only surface areas are needed but no information on the geometry of a surface.
Best
Jakob

Betreff: [TRNSYS-users] TRNSYS Building Modeling with Triangular or Trapezoidal plan
Hi,
I am new to the TRNSYS software. It will be nice of you to give some info regarding this issue, Is it possible to model one building zone with triangular or trapezoidal plan instead of its default rectangular plan?
Sincerely,
Arian Bahrami
