[TRNSYS-users] what is the upper dead band in controller ?

Dear All

in a differential controller what is the upper dead band? I know that when the difference of  Th and Tl is lower than "lower dead band temperature" the controller will actand , for example , the pump will be turned off. but for the difference higher lower than "upper dead band" and also higher than it, the pump is turned on !
