Adnan,
The default mode for Type56 in Trnsys17 is to get its radiation
automatically from the weather data file that provides the ambient
temperature to the model. If you do not want to use this default mode,
however, you do not have to. In order to change to the manual mode:
1. open the building project in TRNBuild and activate the "project"
window. You'll see a list of orientations, each of which has a
calculation mode that is set to "internal"
2. double click on an orientation for which you do not want the
calculation mode to be internal. In the case of using Type16, you'll
need to do this with all the orientations.
3. in the window that pops up change the radio button from "internal" to
"external by another component"
4. once you have changed all the orientations to "external by another
component" save the building project, return to the Simulation Studio,
right click on the Type56 icon and select "update building variable list"
kind regards,
David
