Mazen,
I am not entirely clear on whether you are controlling the total
amount of flow going through the solar collector or whether you are
trying to compute the fraction of the collector's known outlet flow that
you need to mix into your exhaust gas stream in order to achieve a
desired mixed temperature. If you are trying to control the outlet
temperature of the collector, there are collector models available that
will internally compute the flow rate required to achieve a desired
temperature. If you have to known air streams that come together to
achieve an outlet temperature, use Type33 on each air stream to get the
air stream enthalpies then use some equations to back-calculate the
quantity of air that you need from each stream in order to get the
desired temperature. Don't forget about the latent effects when mixing!!
Best,
David
