Nidal and David,

I'm not sure if I understand problem, but I have just create single-family
house and I modeled only exterior door.

I defined this door as window and create this door using WINDOW 6 (software
of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory - free download): u-value=2.6
W/m^2K and g-value=0.144

It seems to me that interior door are also possible to define this way.

It seems to me that in Google SketchUp edge of window/door can't overlap
with edge of wall. To respect this you can make door which begin a few
centimeters above lower edge of wall

I'm beginner in TRNSYS, so I'm not sure if my ideas are well!!!

I enclose pdf with instruction how to create window in WINDOW and introduce
it to TRNBuild library.

Good luck

Nidal,
This is a bit of a problem in the Trnsys3D plugin; the developers are
working on a solution. I have had some success in breaking my wall up into a
"wall" part and a "door" part but this can be tricky because you don't want
the door to get recognized as a window. I then set the two parts as
different wall types and take care of correcting the construction in
TRNBuild.
If there are not very many doors in your zone, I would recommend that you
just ignore them. I only took them into account because I was simulating a
garage that had well insulated wall and completely uninsulated (very large)
garage doors.
Best,
 David

Dear All

I am working with multi-zone building using TRNbuild, and I wonder if you
can help me how I can add or identify a DOOR to the one zone building.

Also I could'nt add or identify a door by using Trnsys3D.

Best Regards

Nidal Abdalla
