[TRNSYS-users] Equation

Hi Mr. Heinze,

Thanks fou your quick reply!

I tried a normal schedule in TRNBuild. But the result is very strange. In
all 20 minutes or 45 minutes for open windows can escape the mass of hot air
unexpectedly less than I use ON/OFF controller which controls OF directly
for 18 mins. For 20 minutes or 45 minutes using schedule in TRNBuild, they
are only 466 kg and 750 kg, however, for 18 mins using ON/OFF control,
it's unexpectedly 1432 kg. You could see 45 mins is twice than 20 mins
using schedule in TRNBuild, the escaping hot air mass is also not twice
relationship!

So I want to design an EQUATION to control the Opening Factor of the window
(Input of TRNFlow) as 1:****

 ****

every 2 hours (starting at 10 am) the windows are fully opened (OF=1) for 5
minutes.
every 1 hour (starting at 9 am) the windows are fully opened (OF=1) for 5
minutes.****

Then have a look the result.

My simulation time step is 0.01 hour i.e. 3 mins. Whether the strange result
has the relationship with the simulation time step or not? Or Please give me
some advices for the strange result!

Many thanks in advance!

Br.

wang
