Dear TRNSYS users,
I have two questions:
1) I know the design cooling and heating loads of a building to be
satisfied by a heat pump (water to water). I want to simulate the
performance of the heat pump during a whole year, considering that the
loads vary during time.
How can I couple the thermal loads with the heat pump, whose requested
input is the load inlet temperature?
I have tried to generate the thermal loads in the whole year, starting
from the design values, with TYPE686.
Then I have coupled TYPE686 with TYPE682 to transfer the load to a fluid
and then I mean to couple the latter with the heat pump (load side). Does
it make sense?
Here the second question:
2) When I tried to use TYPE682 from TESS library 17, I get different
results than using TYPE682 from the available example (synthetic
building). They have slightly different output values ("Heat transfer"
instead of "Heating load met"). Which is the difference between these
otputs? Do they represent different things?
I attach a simple simulation with the comparison of the two types.
Has anyone experienced the same thing? Which one should I use?
Thanks for your help.
Regards.
Alessia
