Rebecca,
It sounds as though your understanding is correct. Take a look at the
3d_Building example (.\Trnsys17\Examples\3d_building\Building.tpf). The
idea is that you draw the building in SketchUp/Trnsys3D using plan
north, not true north. When you then deal with the building in
TRNBuild/Trnsys Studio, you have to correct for the difference between
plan and true north.
