[TRNSYS-users] window pane temperature diverging

  I've run into this problem a few times; it essentially means that the 
calculations going on inside Type56 to resolve all the gas and pane 
temperatures in your window are not converging. I have often had success 
by changing the inside surface convection coefficient calculation from 
"automatic" to "constant" in the window type manager for whichever 
window is giving problems. A typical value for the a constant inside 
convection coefficient is 11 kJ/h.m2. This is not an ideal solution 
because of course the convection coefficient changes as the window pane 
and room temperature change but it does stabilize the calculations some.
  Also make sure that you do not accidentally have something strange 
going on in the zone (huge gains, moisture loads, infiltration, or 
ventilation) and that your zone capacitance is set to about 
ZoneVolume*1.2*1.007*5.
