[TRNSYS-users] TYPE 56b RADIATION ORIENTATION

David,
the variable names in Type56's inputs are just variable names. They
do not have any orientation information built into them. The building
takes as an input whatever amount of solar radiation you tell it is
incident on those surfaces. The orientation definition is typically done
in the weather data reading/processing component (Type15) by setting the
slope and azimuth of each of your building's surfaces. The weather
component will output total and beam radiation as well as the angle of
incidence (which is quite important as the thermal properties of the
windows in your building have angular dependence to them)
Best,
David
