[TRNSYS-users] Compyling with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 on Windows 7

Philip,
I am using Intel Visual Fortran 11.1 with MS Visual Studio 2008 on
Windows 7 without any problems. I don't think that you need to worry
about the compiler settings if you are using the IVF111.sln file that is
included in the ..\Trnsys17\Compilers\ directory. There is a project
(called "MyType") for compiling and linking a new component built into
that solution. However, if you want to debug your new component line by
line as the simulation runs it may be easier simply to add your modified
Type551 directly to the TRNDll project that is also part of that solution.
Best,
David
