[TRNSYS-users] Type 56 help

I'm using TRNSYS version 16 to model a radiant floor heating system for a
single office zone/room. I have 2 questions.

1) When I try and create a new active layer in Type 56 (multi-zone
building), I get the following warning/error message...

*"active layer could not place on first position."* What does this mean and
how can it be fixed?

2) Is there a better way to model a single zone than Type 56's GUI. I also
want to have the convective heat transfer coefficients calculated internally
for every time step (since they depend on the varying surface temperatures),
but Type 56 only allows this if the wall is classified as "Internal" and not
"External". How can I account for the varying convective heat transfer
coefficients?

Thank you
