[TRNSYS-users] Question about initial surface temperature of Type 557a

Dear all:

I would like to ask a question about Type 557a. I wonder if I could
set the 30th parameter, which is "initial surface temperature", to the
undisturbed far deep soil temperature of the location. Actually, I
could not understand the exact function of this "initial surface
temperature.
