[TRNSYS-users] Adding a water layer on building’s roof

 Dear TRNSYS users.
 
I am trying to simulate an open water pond for cooling a roof. This passive cooling technique dissipate heat from water by means of radiation and evaporation.
 
For this purpose, I add a water layer on the roof, using the layer library of TRNBuild (no. 99/ otherMaterials / water 20oC). Does this water layer evaporates (or is it considered to be “enclosed”)?
