[TRNSYS-users] Heating Cooling Power

Roberto,
I would not use the heating type manager in TRNBuild; what that does
is to impose a set point temperature on the building and have Type56
calculate the required load that should be met by the heat pump. The
heat pump, however, does not take a load input. It takes inlet
conditions and calculates outlet conditions. Instead, I would recommend
that you define a ventilation stream in your Type56 zone (using the
ventilation type manager in TRNBuild) with temperature, flow rate, and
RH as INPUTS. Then pass the heat pump outlet conditions to the new
Type56 inputs. You'll also need to define a thermostat that watches the
zone temperature and turns the heat pump on and off.

There is a tutorial that will give you some hints as to how to do this.
It can be found at:

"Temperature Level Control from Energy Rate Control

using the TRNSYS 16 Restaurant Example"

Best,
 David
