Mariana,
   Do any of your walls have the "automatic heat transfer coefficient" 
calculation option turned on? If so, try to (temporarily) set them all 
to constant coefficients. TRNBuild/Type56 doesn't allow that mode to be 
used on the outside surface of an EXTERNAL wall. Years ago, I did have 
the problem where I had all walls set with constant heat transfer 
coefficients and still got that error but the bug was corrected in a 
quite early release of Trnsys16 (2005 at the latest).
