Daniel,
There is a tutorial that covers how to connect a simple furnace to
one of the existing TRNSYS examples that can be downloaded from
http://sel.me.wisc.edu/trnsys/downloads/tutorials_and_examples/tutex.htm
the tutorial is called "Temperature Level Control from Energy Rate Control"
