Sek,
  I am not sure that approximating an active chilled beam using the 
cooled ceiling model is correct. In my understanding, the cooled ceiling 
models a purely radiative device whereas an active chilled beam supplies 
a small amount of cooled, dehumidified air to the space through some 
induction nozzles that draw room air over a series of cool water pipes, 
cooling it and supplying it right back to the room. I would think that 
the more correct methodology would be to write a model of an active 
chilled beam itself.
