Jérôme,
   What is most likely happening is that at a pressure of 1atm, your 
combination of the dry bulb temperature and the absolute humidity ratio 
are on the wrong side of the saturation line. Since that is physically 
impossible, the psychometric routine  keeps your dry bulb temperature 
and resets the absolute humidity ratio to the value it would be if the 
relative humidity were 100%.
