[TRNSYS-users] the storage of heat in the room air and building mass

Dear all,

 I saw one introduction about TRNSYS, there is a sentence:
•
Thermal building model includes heat transfer by conductions, convection and
radiation, heat gains from occupants and equipment, and the storage of heat
in the room air and building mass



 What"s meaning of the storage of heat in the room air and building mass?


Does it mean the room and building mass can store the heat? If so, how to
embody its storage of heat? Please take some examples!
