[TRNSYS-users] Nigh time spray radiant cooling

A good starting place appears to be a publication from 1987 done by S.
Somasundaram, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M
University, titled, "AN EXPERIMENTAL AND NUMERICAL MODELING OF A
ROOF-SPRAY COOLING SYSTEM". Doing a google search of that title brings
up a link to the article that goes into theory detail, along with other
publications that refer to at least one former manufacturer of such
systems.

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Nigh time spray radiant cooling

Has anyone modeled a nighttime radiation cooling system, where the water
is sprayed directly on the rooftop of the building, not through
tubing/flat plate collectors? If so, any ideas on how to model this in
TRNSYS/Excel?

Any information on the theoretical background would also help. I can
only seem to find information regarding closed systems.

thanks
