Dear Claire,
Please find the data sheet YAZAKI Chiller attached. I am also doing the same but I am new to TRNSYS. I am getting a lot of problem, Is it possible for you to guide me.
Regards,
jalo

Dear trnsys users,
i'm simulating a solar air conditioning system with a hot water fired absorption chiller "yazaki WFC SC30".
Do anyone have data file for this machine ?
Thank you.
Claire

Dear TRNSYS users,
As I understand, the Type 557
vertical ground heat exchanger models a cylindrical storage volume, where
the boreholes are placed uniformly within this cylinder. But in many cases,
one has a different borehole configuration, for example boreholes placed
on a line or an L-shaped configuration. Does anyone know of a way to simulate
such borehole configurations in TRNSYS? I am particularly interested in
boreholes placed on a line.
Thanks and best regards,

Chun Kwong and Mathieu,
Thank you both for replying. I am, however,
not sure if the superposition borehole model is available for TRNSYS 16,
or who is distributing it.

borehole configurations
Hello, Knut.
If you want to model a borefield with all the boreholes aligned in a line,
Type557 may not be suitable, and you need to use other components. There
is an
alternative called superposition borehole model (SBM) available in Trnsys
as
far as I know. You may ask your dealer.

Dear Knut Erik Enerstvedt,
I
would suggest using the SBM model by Per Eskilson. As far as I know this model
allows user-defined borehole configurations.

What is the current status for running Trnsys 16 on Vista or 64 bit systems?
I loaded and ran the restaurant example on Vista 64 bit. It ran, but it gave
a Visual FORTRAN error from gentrn.dll.
I'm also wondering if anyone has used the Intel FORTRAN compiler to give a
good 64 bit version of the program.
Anyone's experiences with any of these issues would be appreciated.
Thank you

We do distribute the Superposition Borehole Model (SBM) but I can tell you
from experience that it's difficult to use and difficult to set up -
especially the first time.... I know that there is a short timestep model
that was developed by Cenk Yavuzturk for TRNSYS that allows for many
different borehole configurations but I'm not sure if it is publicly
available.
