Angela and Juliane,
It might be a good idea to be in contact with your TRNSYS distributor
about what you are trying to do. There are some license restrictions as
to what kind of applications can be developed from TRNSYS. If what you
are doing is for internal use only, there is no problem of course. If
you are planning to distribute your final product then you should
definitely contact the developers. With TRNSYS 16, the *.bui file is
processed by TRNBuild when the simulation starts (so the *.bld and *.trn
files are regenerated each time).
