Stefania,
In addition to Matt's reply, the energy balance error output is the 
amount of energy that is not accounted for by the other terms of the 
energy balance (energy due to liquid flow into the tank, energy due to 
liquid flow out of the tank, thermal losses, miscelaneous gains, flue 
losses, etc.) Sometimes when all of the terms of the energy balance have 
been summed, there is a tiny bit left over. This is referred to as the 
energy balance error. It should be nearly zero. If it is not, then you 
may need to adjust your simulation time step or tolerances. If there is 
an energy balance error, this does not stop the simulation.
