[TRNSYS-users] Type 60 - Convective heat transfer coefficient

Dear TRNSYS-users,

I'm using type 60c with a heat exchanger connected with a heat pump. It
seems that when the mass flow rate of the fluid within the heat exchanger
pipe is zero, there is not any heat transfer between the fluid in the pipe
and the fluid in the storage. Does anyone know what convective heat
transfer coefficient is considered at the inner wall of the heat exchanger
pipe?

In order to consider the heat transfer due to natural convection within the
pipe, in case of zero flow rate, I would like to set an effective flow rate,
but I need to know what expression has been employed to define the Nusselt
number. I couldn't find any information about it, can anyone help me?
(Dittus Boelter equation?).

Thank you in advance,

Tiziano Terlizzese
