[TRNSYS-users] Different results by different Trnsys versions?

Björn,
There are bug fixes and enhancements made with each new release of
TRNSYS so it is possible that there would be differences in result
between the versions and I would expect (hope) that the more recent
version is the correct one. TRNEdit is a separate utility program and
doesn't have anything to do with which version of the TRNDll.dll that
you are using. The TRNDll.dll is the part of TRNSYS that makes all of
the simulation calculations. So you should be able to take the
TRNEdit.exe file from your 16.01.0000 directory and put it into the
16.01.0003 directory, then use parametric tables in 16.01.0003. If that
doesn't work, you will need to also take TRNExe.exe from the 16.01.0000
directory and place it alongside TRNEdit.exe in the 16.01.0003 directory.
Kind regards,
 David
