[TRNSYS-users] question about the fan

Jason,
 You are not the only person to have run into this quirk. It is not 
intuitive but when you change the units of an input (by selecting Pa 
instead of atm in your case), TRNSYS does not insert an automatic unit 
conversion into your input file. The fan model is still expecting its 
pressure input in atmospheres and the weather data component is still 
providing pressure in pascals. What you need to do is to insert an 
equation into your input file to convert from Pa to atm. Changing units 
by selecting something from a pulldown menu in the Studio has an effect 
only at the interface level - when the interface writes the input file, 
it makes all the conversions back again. It is safe to change the units 
of parameters and it is safe to change the units of /unconnected /inputs.
