Ivy,
The process of writing a new component is described in two parts. In the 
08-Programmer's Guide manual, you will find extensive documentation on 
how to write the Fortran code of your new component (you will also find 
some information on writing components in other programming languages as 
well). You will find information in the 02-Simulation Studio manual on 
how to create a new proforma so that the TRNSYS Studio knows how to 
communicate with your new component.
