Dear all

I am trying to analyze with trnsys the impact of ground floor insulation on energy demand for a 4500 m² retail store.

As a first step, I defined the ground floor as a boundary condition and I set a ground temperature for each month using à program call phpp

For the winter months I have fixe a ground temperature boundary condition of about 16°C and 20°C for the summer month.

This way of calculating the heating and cooling demand is of course not very realistic. The temperature depend of the type of insulation, les surfaces of the floor, the perimeter, the other cooling or heating load and so.

Does anyone know how I could simulate more accurately this situation with and without insulation on ground floor?

Best regards

Vincent Pirnay
