<I used the TRNSYS to optimize the Ground Source Heat Pump system (GSHP).
I build an optimization of GSHP in the base of studying the TRNPOT and
GenOpt, It always has a mistake. I looked at the GenoptInputFile.lst. The
mistake is as followed. But the system can run when I didn¡¯t optimize.
Why GenOpt can not read SAMP_C12.1.DAT(SAMP_C12.1.DAT is the data of heat
pump.>
The problem is simply that the TRNSYS program can't find the data files
that are required to run the simulation. I'm guessing from the message
that I can see that the input file was generated from the studio and that
the data files are in a subdirectory one below the project directory. You
have two choices:
1) Copy the folder and files that you need into the
Optimization\GenOpt\Simulation directory.
2) The preferred option: From the studio, provide the FULL path name to
the data files and not the relative path name: for example give it the
name "c:\Program
Files\TRNSYS16_1\MyProjects\Project7\DataFiles\samp_c.dat" and not the
".\DataFiles\samp_c.dat" assignment.
This should do the trick.
