Dear Andrien,

Thank you very very much. I have solved my problem with the pathname :) now and the link works fine. I will try with your rest suggestions!

Dear Eleni,

What is the error message given by TRNSYS when you link Type 62 with
Type 56?

Are you sure that the EXCEL File path define in Type62 "Control Card" is
all right? Are you sure that your EXCEL File is correctly defined ?

Concerning your profile, you will have to use several Type to describe
your profile like you want. First, define each of your profile in
columns in your EXCEL File. Then use equation windows or Type 515
("Application Library( TESS)" --> "Heating And Cooling season") to
define Summer and Winter, and Type 516 (""Application Library (TESS)"
--> "WeekDays Saturdays" --> "Type 516") to define weekdays and week end
hourly schedules . Then combine the EXCEL File outputs with Type 516 and
Type 515 outputs in an equation window to build the one-year profile you
want.

You can see the attach file as an example.

Best regards, Adrien

The problem is that when I link type 62 with type 56 TRNSYS does not run, as I get an error. In addition, the 6 typical days of the year represent winter shoulder season and summer weekdays and weekends. So I have to combine these to represent a year. Do you have anything to suggest?
