[TRNSYS-users] multizone and water source heat pump

Dapeng,
   There is not a fundamental limit to the number 
of logical units that you can have in a TRNSYS 
simulation. The limitation that you see is only 
at the Type505 proforma level (we'll fix this in 
the next release of the TESS Libraries). What you need to do is:

1. open the Type505 proforma by double clicking 
on it in the Direct Access tool (not the one that 
is in your project but the default one that is in the library on the right).

2. switch to the "variables" tab and then click 
the "variables (parameters, inputs, outputs, derivatives) button

3. switch to the "parameters" tab

4. change the value in the "max" field from "100" 
to "+Inf" for parameters 2 through 5.

5. save the proforma

6. open your project, select an instance of Type505 by clicking once on it.

7. right click and select "replace" then browse to find the Type505 proforma.

The reason you need to perform steps 6 and 7 is 
that when you change a proforma, that change is 
not reflected in your projects until you manually change to the new proforma.
