[TRNSYS-users] Radiant Floor System in TYPE 56

Dear Roberto,
It is my understanding that the "number of loops" indicates the number
of parallel branches of piping that pass through the floor and that the
total mass flow rate specified is divided equally among the number of loops
that you have specified. I belive also that the empirical correlation used
in the Type56 active layers was developed using various "typical" piping
layouts. That might include perimeter zones and core zones, it might
include your "straight through" configuration as well. If you want to use a
radiant floor model that allows you to specify the path of pipes through
the floor, you might look at Types701, 703, and 705 in the TESS Ground
Coupling library.
Kind regards,
  David
