Marijke,
I have used Type40 a few times and you are right, it is horrible to use.
Too flexible, I think. I will look to see if I have any old input files
that use it and email them to you directly. However, if you are familiar
with writing components, it is sometimes easier to write a new controller
model than it is to work out how to implement Type40.
