Dear Jeff,

in fact this cannot be done straight forward. In order to do it correctly,
you have to run three simulations:

1. Simulation without internal and solar gains:
S Q_heat_1 = S Q_inf (if Q_heat>0) + S Q_vent (if Q_heat>0) + S Q_trans (Eqn.1)

(Ntype 30) (Ntype 4) (Ntype 5)

from Eqn. 1 you otain the transmission losses: S Q_trans

2. Simulation without solar but with internal gains:

S Q_heat_2 = S Q_heat_1 - S Q_gains,useful (Eqn.2)

from Eqn. 2 you otain the useable internal gains: S Q_gains,useful

3. Simulation with internal and solar gains:

S Q_heat_3 = S Q_heat_2 - S Q_solar,useful (Eqn.3)

from Eqn. 3 you otain the useable solar gains: S Q_solar,useful

Regards,

Marion

	Hi All,
I would like to known which part of solar and internal gains really participate to heating during winter for a zone.
I mean with a heating system using a temperature threshold, a part of these gain only contribute to increase temperature above the setting. Then they don't participate to heating.
	If you have an idea....

	Regards,
	JeFF
