Antoine,
In Mode 1 the user specifies a range for each Input consisting of a
minimum, a maximum, and the number of intervals between. Type 27 will print
the total integrated time (hours) that the Input variable was within each
of the corresponding intervals.

In Mode 2 the user specifies a daily time range for each Input,
consisting of a start time, a stop time and the number of intervals
between. For each Input, Type 27 will print (and plot) the total integrated
values of the Input that were present within each of the corresponding time
intervals. This mode can be used, for example, to determine the daily
distribution of an energy flux.

Type27's internal plotting capabilities seem to have been removed
although the documentation still mentions them. I usually use Excel to plot
the results of the kind of bin analysis that Type27 performs.

>Is it possible to plot the histogram directly in TRNEXE with the type 27
>(like the type 65) ?

There are a few options. The simplest option is that if you use Type65a, b,
or c instead of Type65d as your plotter then you will automatically get a
text file containing all of the data that was plotted by Type65. This data
can be plotted using Excel or whatever other software you want. The second
option is to use some combination of integrators (Type24 or Type55) and
printer (Type25) to create a text output file that can then be plotted. If
you just need the plot and do not need to analyze the data, you can copy
and paste the Type65 plot using the "Plot Options" menu when the plot is
displayed.

Thanks for pointing out the missing feature in Type27. We will make sure
it is on the buglist.
Cheers,
  David
