[TRNSYS-users] Type 34 : Strange outputs

Hi Jeff,

I wonder if you also modified the values of the left and right
wingwalls. By default, Type34 assigns values of 0.5m to all of the
dimensions. I am sending you in another email a project with Type34
where you can see that when the projections are equal to zero, the
incoming diffuse and beam radiation are kept constant by Type34.

Type34 assumes an isotropic sky model. Therefore, if you want to be
entirely consistent, you may want to use this model in your radiation
processor.

I am not sure if I understand your last question. Do you want to use a
shading mask in order to model the overhangs and wingwalls? Remember
that the information given in a shading mask is the height angles formed
between the horizontal line and the height of the obstruction.
Please let me know if this answers your question.
Best regards,

Diego
