Dear all!

I am attempting to write a c++ type that has to read data from an external
file. In the proforma I can determine a default path and a related question.
Exporting the type into c++ ends up with a template which has the fstream
header already included. This makes me believe that I have to deal with the
streaming in c++ and cannot use an extermal fortran routine. Now my
question: where do I get the path name from? I had the faint idea that it
might somehow be linked to the unit number but at the moment I am a bit
confused. Anyone who can help me?

Thanks and regards,
Joern
