[TRNSYS-users] TYPE68 + TYPE 34

Christophe,
It is a bit of a mess to combine Type68 and Type34 to do both overhang
and far-away object shading on the same facade. What you need to do is to
define a horizontal facade and your vertical opening in Type68 so that you
can get the total radiation shaded by far-away objects on the horizontal as
well as the beam radiation on the surface, which is what Type34 is
expecting. We have a high priority item on our list of requested
enhancements for Type68 to also calculate the shaded horizontal radiation
for each one of the openings in the data file. I am not sure when that
enhancement will be ready though. We will make an announcement to the list
when it is ready.
Kind regards,
   David
