All;
Forgot to copy listserv before. Mia Culpa.
On the flip side – the solution has been tested and worked.
Reattached ini file for completeness
Body of ini file text is this:
[paths]
DataPath="c:\eQUEST 3-65 Data\"
ProjPath="c:\eQUEST 3-65 Projects\"
Hope this helps others.

Michael;
I’ve run into this before, or similar.
The issue is that the ‘default’ place the help files and eQuest data are installed is ‘my documents’. Which is great if that’s on your C-drive. But on many corporate computers it’s part of some network drive or roaming profile.
Two options:
My preferred:
Modify/replace the eQuest.ini file (to the attached) and making a copy of my ‘eQUEST 3-65 Data’ & ‘eQUEST 3-65 Projects’ folders to the paths in the attached ini file. My ini files is located here on my machine:
C:\Program Files (x86)\eQUEST 3-65 b7173
Yours is probably similar ( may not have b7173. This tag is added for different builds of eQuest on my machine)
I’d find your ini file. Make a backup copy. Replace the original ini file with the attached and copy the Data/Projects folder to the C-drive location.
OR
(untested, but might work)
Locate your ini file and your ‘eQUEST 3-65 Data’ & ‘eQUEST 3-65 Projects’ folders and update the ini file paths to this/these locations.
Hopefully this resolves.

Subject: [Equest-users] Help menus not showing up
Hello,
I've been having an issue where the help menus are not showing.
For example, when I right click on a field and select "Item Help" and click to view the item description, it just takes me to the following screen:
[Inline image 1]
I've tried to fix this by re-installing eQUEST but that did not work.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
Thanks,
