[Equest-users] equest model loses all info

By any chance, is the 5gb file one that has a .pdl extension? I’ve had sporadic issue where that blows up, but then slows everything way down….especially if working from a central server.

The element to check is open the .inp and .pd2 file with a text editor and determine of those are blank, or if they have information in them.  If these aren’t blank I’m guessing the .pdl’s files might be the culprit, if they are blank…then you may have a new one for me…

I've had this problem a few times:  I'll be working on building my model.  I save it, close eQuest, but when I reopen the file, it is completely blank.  I'm not sure if this is relevant but just in case it is: There are a 73 files in the eQuest project folder.  One of them is 5GB in size.   If anyone has had this problem, and knows of how to get my model back, I'd really appreciate finding out how you fixed the problem. Thanks
