[TRNSYS-users] Variable units in fortran code

Hey TRNSYS users,

is there any possibility to remove the unit of variables that are used in
the fortran code of a type.
for example if i use getsimulationtimestep() i get the timestep with the
unit. i want to use only the value for further equations.
can anyone of u tell me how to do that?

and the other way round can i add a unit to a value that is simply a number
till this point?
