I'll have to see if they run with the ouija idea - it's on the table as an example, but if they decide on something else, perhaps something most sinister or vague or just plain stupid, then I'll go with whatever works to keep them hooked.

I'm trying to second guess what they might come up with, and think up reasons for them to have someone or something remind them of the event, and to send them an unusual package. A Demon might work, perhaps a Demon who has something invested into each item, but I'm trying to bounce a few ideas to some up with a motivation.

I think I'll have a better idea when the players start to dredge up things from their own imaginations, but that's not stopping me doing a little brain-storming first. It might, for example, require the individuals have their newly delivered package present for the Demon to be able to hack into their PCs and send them messages. In which case anyone able to track IP addresses down to either a friend's computer or their own is going to start getting paranoid.

Hmmm. That's got me thinking. Thanks!

Si
