The second thing. Narcotic Alchemists don't store charges like 
entropomancers or kleptomancers or pretty much any other adept. (Maybe 
Anagram Gematria.) Minor spells go off as soon as you take drugs, and the 
effects tend to wear off when you come down from the drugs. One 
hit/snort/whatever per spell. Significant spells are the same, except for 
any permanent improvements. It's not about charges, it's about altering 
yourself or the world by altering your brain chemistry.

Hello,

One of my player is playing a narco alchimist, and we're not sure how the
charges are gained. Do they gain charges when they take drugs, and keep them
until they need to cast their spells? Or do they gain the specific effect of
a drug as they take them?

Given how the consequent effects are described (effects are associated to
specific drugs), I think it's the second one, at least for consequent drugs,
but I'd like to have everyone's thoughts on the subject.
